Clinical Supervision
Julia holds a Post Graduate qualification (Level 7) in clinical supervision. She is also a member of the Health and Care Profession Council (HCPC).
As a supervisor, she brings extensive experience working with a highly varied client base, including adults, young people and children. Additionally, she is qualified at Masters’s level as an art psychotherapist and has a health & social care degree.
She is trained to a high academic standard and has broad clinical experience, enabling her to support the counsellor’s work ethically and consistently.
She values the importance of creating a safe, consistent, regular and reflective space, enabling clients to explore and learn from triggers and stressors which can be activated within their work. Supervision will therefore prioritise reflection, well-being and self-care. Safe space where individual voices are listened to and where these voices matter.

As a clinical supervisor, she enjoys being involved in developing a person’s therapeutic thinking and is enthusiastic about exploring the issues that constitute good and effective therapeutic interventions and providing honest and supportive guidance.
Adult Psychotherapy
There are occasions when family and friends can no longer support you and you need an experienced and empathic professional to step in. With over a decade’s experience, Julia has worked extensively with a broad range of client presentations, including anger management, anxiety, depression, Low self-esteem, relationship challenges and many more.
It doesn’t matter if you’re on your own, married, living together, single, gay, bisexual, straight, or transgender, regardless of age, education or financial background. Each of us will be presented with life challenges that can often be overwhelming. Julia’s warm and empathic manner makes her a popular choice for many clients.
Children & Young People
Working with children and adolescents for twelve years has given Julia the opportunity to gain extensive and varied expertise working with complex and non-complex clients, such as symptoms of dissociation, survivors of abuse, depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicide ideation.
She also has experience working collaboratively with other mental health professionals and educational staff, supporting people of all ages when working with various complex presentations, including such things as ADHD, ADD, ASD, dyslexia, and other learning and developmental difficulties.
