Offering transformative therapy rooted in authenticity, purpose, and personal empowerment
Jamie is a qualified Psychosynthesis Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist who holds an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology and a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from Middlesex University and the Institute of Psychosynthesis. As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), Jamie is committed to delivering the highest standards of care in a safe and supportive environment.
Jamie brings a unique, spiritually-informed approach to therapeutic work, with his journey into healing beginning in 2003 following a profound personal experience with alternative healing approaches. This sparked a passionate exploration of various therapeutic modalities, leading to comprehensive training with leading practitioners in both traditional and innovative healing methods.
Jamie believes that therapy should be “soulful” – ultimately about feeling seen, heard and understood. Clients can expect a confidential and non-judgmental space where they can reconnect with their authentic selves, their truth, and their will to act. With 200+ client hours and additional experience from 700+ hours as a Thrive Consultant, Jamie understands that reaching out for support can feel daunting and strives to make the therapeutic journey as transformative as possible.
Jamie’s Philosophy
“The magic of therapy is in the human connection, not particular techniques. My work is helping you reconnect to your Higher Self, and to your authenticity and sense of purpose. Therapy should be soulful – it should be a chance for you to look forward and consider questions you probably haven’t made much space for, like ‘Am I being who I want to be?’ or ‘Am I doing the things I really want to do?'”
Therapeutic Approach
Jamie specialises in Psychosynthesis and Transpersonal Therapy, approaches based on the understanding that we all have a wiser ‘Higher Self’ that can guide us toward healing and authenticity. Jamie’s therapeutic philosophy centres on helping clients develop a deeper relationship with themselves and activate the highest parts of themselves.
